195 Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222
Pueblo Querido is a family-owned Colombian coffee roaster and cafe on Greenpoint Avenue, named after the Spanish phrase for 'beloved town' and built around a clear mission: bring the rich, sustainably-grown coffee of Colombia directly to Brooklyn. The cafe roasts beans on-site sourced through direct-trade relationships with smallholder Colombian farmers, with a rotating selection of single-origin lots that highlight different regional profiles — from the bright, citrusy washed coffees of Huila to the heavier, chocolatey naturals of Antioquia. The space is small, casual, and warmly decorated with Colombian touches. Beyond the coffee, the menu includes traditional Colombian baked goods — pandebonos (cheesy tapioca-flour bread), buñuelos, and empanadas — that pair naturally with the espresso program. Friendly, knowledgeable baristas and a tight-knit regular base have made Pueblo Querido a Greenpointers favorite. Note: as of early 2026, there are reports of a new tenant moving into their location, so check ahead before visiting.
